Michael A. Bander has been practicing immigration law since the late 1970's. He is "AV" rated by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and was selected by his peers to be in The Best Lawyers in America listing. Mr. Bander is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. He is a former member of the U.S. Department of State, posted with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Paraguay, and has traveled extensively throughout Latin America. As a past president of the South Florida Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Mr. Bander is well-versed in all aspects of U.S. immigration and nationality law and is a frequent lecturer in the area of U.S. professional and business immigration. He is the co-author of a leading publication focusing on immigration issues for Canadian and Mexican professionals under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
